New Year holidays Banner Competition

Very-very impressive collection. Some Photoshop wizards among us in the community. :) Just a general impression: I was a bit confused to see a lot of people using sad/generic character images. It's a party! It's the New Year! Christmas! Character is the most important part of a banner, not the background or effects. So try to match it to the competition theme rather than to the template you managed to create. :) Still a lot of very impressive works from too many people to list.

I agree, members have responded to Duki's call with some very very nice banners. Since the announcement, many people have contributed with their time encouraging others to better themselves as well.
Personally, what I would like to see is that BakaBT is not just about ratios, uploads or downloads, and I am glad to see it one more time. At the very end, believe me, it is notoriously difficult to gather this many nice people around the world together in one place. Simply someone who is addicted to anime can hardly be an a**hole :)
Now after this little speech of mine, I would appreciate if you could participate with a banner you had in mind. We still have 10 days :)

Please,let me continue it.I would love to make these awesome things too.I will try to learn Photoshop in this winter vacation(and if some of you can teach me,I mean,human-human learning is better than human-video/text)and hopefully I will do at least one 'till the deadline.
Well,sincerely,if not for this great community,I would've probably given up with this torrent site.I simply love BBT.The anime watcher not being an ass is pure genius.

Been playing some more with my previous submissions, so here they are again. ^_^
I made Fay stand out a bit more, brought more of his staff into the picture and fixed the spot on mokona's head, so it is red now, like it should be. I could flip Fay to the left of the text, but I kind of prefer him looking towards mokona...
