What different between DVD and TV version of Dragonaut The Resonance !?

Today I just found the Exiled Destiny subbing this show and I plan to download it by IRC BOT. (because it will never come here right ?)

However as you known to get files from IRC not easy like bittorent plus I already have this show in TV verion that subs by I-Z too.

So I want to check it worth for download or not ?

I mean in DVD version is it has something different from TV beside graphic quality or not ? (or something uncensored)

Could some one make it clear for me ?

Thanks.

If its like a lot of the newer series these days, there is probably a bit of extra or uncensored footage and language.  Some shows are broadcast 4:3 but get Wide Screen DVD's too I think.  Aside from image quality I wouldn't know what else.   Maybe an improved soundtrack. (5.1 over 2.0)   it all depends on what the original source material is.

In general, graphics that were censored will usually be uncensored or less censored if it's an ecchi series. If SHAFT made it, scenes will be retouched for quality. Other studios might also do retouch some stuff if they received complaints from the viewers. If it's a reference show, the direct references bleeped out on TV will not be bleeped out any longer.

Apart from the last episode being released on DVD only, I couldn't find any differences mentioned. Ecchi series and SHAFT releases are the ones that are most likely to have a better DVD release in my experience. (Edit: Better in terms of material. Quality of details will usually beat TV recordings even at higher resolutions.)

Interesting note on that..  Lucky Star's dub is full of  "bleeped" (if you can call it that) out stuff..  I always wondered whats up with that,  you'd think that'd be covered unfair parody or fair use or something.

"Fair use" is an American law. I'm not really sure how it is in Japan, but they always seem to change brand names and trademarks slightly, and there's probably a good underlying reason for it. It's been a long while since I saw Lucky Star, but perhaps it was used for comedic effect? Perhaps the actual references would not make much sense in the English dub, and it was funnier to leave them in.
