I tire of searching and reading pages of threads with dozens of anime each response. I figure with enough people posting this will work for people who aren't too picky and just want something random and good to watch.
Recommend me your ONE MOST SUPER FAVORITE ALL TIME ANIME!
I know it's hard so I'll go first.

I'll go with Death Note.

Ginga Nagareboshi Gin. Though there's limited groups who've done it. Best combination would be asd's re-translated episodes (1-11) and for the rest the torrent here (anime.fin 12-21)
