Anyone still using Xvid?

<< < (2/20) > >>

macros74:
I do on occasion. Say there are dual audio H264 DVD rips, but there are fansubs only available in XviD, then I do get those for some series/groups. But this is mainly with regard to older releases since a lot of fansub groups are not releasing XviD anymore.

vuzedome:
Some Xvids here are wrapped in MKV so yeah.

AceD:
Nope, i always go h264...because its better  :o

mgz:
compatibility with PMP = my reason for xvid.

For my PC viewing i usually prefer highest resolution and quality regardless of the codec/container

DaggerLite:
I have both old and low quality videos around that are encoded to XviD, so I still use it in that sense. I've also encoded to it for compatibility.

I did however vote no, because I will always pick an H.264 version over XviD if I can. I felt that was the message behind the question, rather than whether I still use XviD or not.
