Most of the people who were waiting were like "wtf, that was crap". Then I looked at De Montfort in Leicester and the damned interviewer was so mean I cried on the phone after (filed an official complaint about my interview there :/ ).
My college course told us to all put Wolverhampton down as a backup uni as they let anyone in without an interview. So when my friend had to go for an interview I laughed very very hard

That's not very nice. You're not a nice person I take it.

What did I say in there that wasn't nice? I was all hyped and then the lack of knowledge and enthusiasm that the staff we got to see for the show around and interviews sucked majourly. I never once said "Birmingham is crap" just that it was one of the three places I applied to and it was let down by the interview 0_o In all honesty I never could say Brum is crap because I come from Stoke-on-Trent, which is truly terrible. :/
Unless you mean the interview thing? I laughed because we'd been told that you'd just get in. The guy was good enough to get in anyway and I knew that, he was just very unfortunate.
@Chiyachan
Theres a guy who used to go to a LAN centre I frequented who came from Swindon, and one of my friends from college is there now doing a Sequential Illustration degree. :)

We both have the same qualifications. Yours from Birmingham, and mine from Harvard... You know who'd they take.
As a matter of fact, I -have- been to Birmingham. Several times, and Liverpool.
I'm from Swindon, now living in Essex.
But I've noticed, the further north in England, the worse it gets. Although there are a few exceptions.

you're right about the more north you go, but for me replace "worse" with "weird" btw its still cool though, it's because there's more opportunities in the south.
I've lived in Birmingham. There's a big difference between a traveller and an occupier. So I know more then you, waaaah.
I've been Swindon, seems like an upper class white area, but I've heard Essex is a shithole? I could be wrong because others have mentioned plenty of hot wags living around those areas.

Do something you want to do and like. Even though I really didn't want to I got a Computer Science/Computer Engineering double major. I hated it beyond belief. After I graduated I went into Finance and got a job as an ibanker at Merrill Lynch.
