Google Chief: If you care about your privacy you're a criminal
Xiong Chiamiov:
Yahoo! recently sold off their search operation to Microsoft, so Bing's searches are now loads better. I'm still not going to use them for anything other than images, though, mostly out of habit, and a desire for uncluttered pages.

Google. I'd rather have benevolent overlords, and despite any privacy concerns, Google gives me good freakin' stuff, which is far more than I can of Microsoft.

benevolent? google showed how much their cared about your privacy with the whole google buzz fiasco.

At one time I felt the same. Not anymore. People change, and so do companies. At one time I'd even welcome an OS by Google, but hell no now. To openly claim they don't give a shit about anyone's privacy pisses me off. MS hasn't sunk that low, thank goodness.
So Bing it is. Google has increasingly been giving me crappy search results, cluster fucked with sponsored ads.
Yea, I don't have anything to hide. Why I tattooed my address, phone number, and email on my forehead, and openly show everyone all of my daily activities and contacts, especially to advertisers, authorities, abusive spouses, scam artists, etc.. Well, I didn't actually tattoo myself, but I have been using Google. Do not use Google Buzz.
People of today are so easily convinced to give up their personal freedoms. As this thread has shown. There's legitimate reasons for privacy, and it's not criminal, as they want you to believe.
