Recommended Privacy / Anti-Spying Software - Alternatives to Peer Guardian 2?

I've been using Peer Guardian 2 for a while now but it seems that it's been abandoned and the update lists are slowly dying away.
Hence, I've been looking for a good alternative to Peer Guardian 2. Do you know of any recommended Privacy / Anti-Spying software that are comparable to or better than Peer Guardian 2?

And if possible, can the Privacy / Anti-Spying (not Anti-Spyware; that belongs to another category) category be added into the Useful Software Repository thread?
