You've been stuck in XP for so long and yet don't know about Stardock?

B. Yes, Hate #3 is amazing as a multi-purpose tool but I would be so much happier if I could distinguish them from the rest of the non-pinned programs.
C. Where did you get that? Is that the Windows Media Player 12 background? Anyway, the WinXP Meadows background pwns the Win7 background hands down although the Win7 background is good.
D. Where is the shutdown window? The moment I click on shutdown, the computer shuts down.
E. For some reason, the movement kind of looks more fluid now. Maybe the monitor became more proficient at it?

A: the same way you customize your taskbar since windows 95 ;)

B: that's pretty easy as they are sorted. the pinned ones are always the first programs followed by the unpinned. if you want you can simply add a rarely used program as the last pinned program and the icon will serve as a buffer between the pinned and unpinned ones.
C: i believe this wallpaper is from the windows7 alpha preview
D: there is a little arrow behind the shutdown button (which is not actually a shutdown button as you can configure what should happen when you click on in in the start menu properties) + you can hit alt+f4 while on the desktop to show a shutdown window

Mac, same as Windows, just an alternative for gays/unemployed/artists, stable, but has no practical use as 99% of useful programs are for Windows
Linux: for those who like to fickle with an OS, but not actually use it for anything else.
OS nowadays suck balls, go and play outside.

im wondering if perhaps bakabt should institute some kind of remote drug testing program.
the only thing you said that made sense is that "windows sucks balls".

another thing i never understood is m$ offering multiple os's.   since they cannot program one correctly
what makes them think they can do 5 or 6 of em.

just buy a mac and be done with all the bs.

you obviously don't understand what choice is about - no wonder as a mac user where you are locked into your small program and hardware pool ;)
