Stuck for 2 hours
« on: December 10, 2009, 01:10:53 PM »
In the fucking snow  >:(

This is what I get for being PUNCTUAL and leaving so I would get to work early!
Fucking snowplows come through 15 minutes after I wipe out.

Thanks for clearing that 75% of the road beforehand guys, and for NOT even stopping to ask if I was ok!

Pfft... I recall being stuck in the cold for 4 hours once. The buses fucked up on the roads. (Usually only took 1:15)

That's nothing. I stood out in the cold from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning after an all night LAN party at my college, putting up with a crazy old guy asking for 5 dollars and talking about going to Walmart to buy batteries and coffee. I then stood outside the mall where i was dropped off waiting for my ride until one in the afternoon. She didn't hear me say i would be there at 10:30 and she doesn't have a cell phone because "they cause cancer".

Did I mention the temp was below 0

Finally a cop and a towtruck stop, after my dad and I spent all that time trying  (why the asshole did not just try to push me out with his TRUCK I don't know.. all it would have taken was a love tap) and the first thing the cop says to me is  "Do you have a credit card?"

Fucking priceless.   Capitalism.

When my car overheated on the inner loop in Chicago, I got a free tow off that fucker,  but I'm out in the freezing cold and the first thing people worry about is money.

And I forgot to mention I was wearing a leather jacket without much means of actually keeping the heat in, and it was a -35C to -40C windchill. 4 hours.

You're in Waterloo?

You're like an hour/hour and a half away from me :P

(Bout an hour south of Milwaukee)

I had to work today :( (Carwashes and 6degree [without wind chill] temperatures don't mix!)

haha yeah I lived in Waukegan for six years and then my family moved about an hour south of Madison, which was nice for a while.

back on topic, it's 70 degrees in my town right now.
if anyone wants to drive down and hit me with a block of ice and a pair of snow tires for being a bad sport i understand

You know what sucks.

Trying to put cardboard down the front of a Dodge Stratus.   Who the fuck designed that front end?   UGH
