Yamato 2005 & Live-Action Space Battleship Yamato (2010)

Well, I'm not sure is this OK. But I was thinking of Space Ship Yamato series. BBT link

They all are based of actual events regarding Battle Ship Yamato @1941. And the design of space battleship doesn't differ from the original historical Yamato. Actually there is a live action movie on the air from year 2005 which follows the true events of the WW2 defending Japan and space battle ship yamato is based on this.

You can lock this thread/post if you want, this is just a question regarding historical events of Japan and the real "Battle Ship Yamato".

I'm doing same as you, trying to find my original DVD of yamato ^^ thought it's subbed in FIN language

Edit: thought I could rip it to h264 and get the suited eng subs. Audio is in Japanese.
