You'll find that there isn't much distinction between class levels at uni, especially due to people progressing at different rates.  Freshmen, however, are an exception; they're the ones who haven't yet grown up, and have no idea how to manage life on their own.

Indeed that applies to such an overwhelming majority of freshman, that everyone assumes it is true of all freshman. Not really complaining about it, but that just so happens to be life. Thus, the class ring really lends the impression that you are inexperienced at living life, or have a very narrow view of the world which define most freshmen. But I suppose I shouldn't really be one to talk...I am still in High School  ;D

well, a fake one and a real one. I don't get whats the point oif the fake one... Beside you have to return to the what ever school you went to again after you have finished it.

All you get is a book (and mostly a crappy one) and a paper,beside the ugly ring you have to pay for, and don't really care for after a while.

the class rings we had the oppertunity started at like 400$ if memory serves correct.
