never heard about that weird practice either... what did I get for my graduation in university? A piece of paper with my grades printed on it...
but yeah, I don't wear rings in general either... people tend to overdo handshake squeezes and then those fuckers feel as if they want to make your bones crack...

congrats on your graduation though... where did you graduate? College? High School? University?

Class rings are big, ugly, and expensive. Plus, I have never really cared about my high school or college (beyond the classes).

All you get is a book (and mostly a crappy one) and a paper,beside the ugly ring you have to pay for, and don't really care for after a while.
