And what was up with selty suddenly going into chatting crap mode at the end of the latest ep? i just love how anime chars just totally ignore whats going on around them as they delve into crazy talk about belief or why they exsist, ect, ect. the worst part was it all stemmed from her head saying 'Selty' to her. hope i don't go down such a path next time someone says my name =/

to be fair your not a several hundred year old mythical person woman, with powers and a magical horse/motorcycle. And your head is attached to your body, you have memories etc etc.

Her head remembered her and as you saw in this episode her shadow went from all ghostly to straight up shadow as they got closer probably signifying something along the lines of herself becoming whole again.

Thus her epiphany and rambling on about it afterwords and her magical powers making everyone else hear her for some reason

hmm so everyones doing GG? no ones tried AC^2? I kinda wanted to give em a chance but its gonna be a little bit before i watch it so i wanted to snag it now. Maybe i'll just do the GG/Ecliptic-BSS thing. Video quality looked a bit crisper on AC^2 though

yeah man we gotta be fair here. . .put yourself in her shoes!
Imagine that someone steals your head for thousands of years and then. . .amm well . . .
say someone steals your puppy when you are a kid and you live a hollow life because someone stole your puppy. . .and then after 1000 years you find a dog that resembles your puppy and you're like "doggy!?" and the dog says "OMG I SOO REMEMBER YOU!"
you'd go crazy whack'o . . .or something like that?

what im thinking will be interesting is when the head/body unite . .

to me it's more like that:
Selty finaly found her head, but the sole reason shes happy is just that, but then again, she has no will to kill the poor girl to get her head back, so she can't get her head back but the mere presence is enough to remember many things, she probably wen't crazy for that fact, and that she also found out what happened, she went "regained senses" and now she goes not berserk but in rage, if l'm correct she found out what happened with her head through all those years and now she wants some revenge.

just my guess though.

Wow, what just happened to Mikado. Extremely interesting, both epsiode 10-11. I thought about dropping this (wasn't really interesting), but it's sure as hell back to waiting for eps.

interesting episode, tough nothing really happened, most of the truth has been released, seems like this isn't the end yet, if what he says is true, and what he intends to do is true, things will become really interesting, damn Selty has a nice body, no wonder he loves her so much, l root for her to get her head back, even if it only means she will have the head on the shelve, as long as shes happy l'm fine with it.

l think just by watching Selty and her actions, thought, feelings, shes more human than anyone else.

Now that you mention it, Selty does seem to be one of the more balanced characters in the show. her and Mikado. The action in the show is supposed to pick up now and I am wondering if it will get as violent Baccano!, so far Durarara seems to be a little tamer then its predecessor.

didn't watch baccano so wouldn't know but l'm planning to soon, as for durarara, l am really wondering how things will develop from here on out, unknowingly Selty is closer to her head now than she thinks, l wonder if he would give it to her if she asked politely, then again, l higly doub't she wil lask him, he got on the nerve of everyone, including Selty, shes one tough nut to crack tough.

So OP2 was just linked to me. Wow, just wow. I can't wait to see what the 2nd half of the series will bring us. Looks like we'll be meeting some interesting characters. I was wondering if that slasher back from.. episode 3(?) was going to appear again.

The new op is good, and the episode was great, the police force reminded me of the anime Wild 7 which made me nostalgia.
This series seems to be going up from here on, gonna be an sweet ride.

well he did imply it, and Selty didn't deny it, she vaguly confirmed it rather then deny.

but thamn, Selty being so scared was quite a shocker, l think l would be the same, just think about it, a small show of force usually gets ppl scared, and they didn't even budge, l guess scaring off those thugs made her feel a bit better :]

Every episode is a surprise this way. Seems like one episode will be the new police officer narrating. (Just a feeling)
I don't know about you but I like shows that don't really have a main character.
