Utorrent port problem..

Yes.

As of Windows XP SP2, ms limited the number half-open ports to 8 but it is not directly related to the number of concurrent open connections you have, just the speed of creating new connections. You can have a 100 peers connected to you at the same time even with this limitation, the BitTorrent clients are optimized to deal with this limit.

Just encountered another connection problem.. after everything turned out well.. sigh.

Decided to state it here rather than starting another topic.

Anyway, I reached 25gb upload and a 3+ ratio last night and became a Power user (gz to me xD)

But then I decided to stop seeding for awhile and turn my computer off for the night.

When I tried to re-check the torrents today and started seeding em, something new is blocking my connection,

Usually the "up or down" arrows are green, but today they have turned red. Here is a screenie to show you:




The Tracker status (in red box) says: "Proxy Connect Error: (following part translated from Swedish) -> Not possible to establish a connection because the targeted computer is denying it.

DHT Status: Not allowed.

Anyone that might know what this is about? My torrents had a good and active upload speed just yesterday, and the arrows were green and active, and The tracker worked just fine.

Anyone that might now what the heck this is?

Noticed that a bit too late, but I uploaded a new picture and recovered a new key.

According to my problem, anyone that knows why this is happening?

Can't seed or download anything from BakaBT atm, dunno if I can download anything to be honest.

Seems like it might be something with my connection this time.

After I posted the picture, the connection symbol turned into a "!", and the text: No incoming connections, Make sure to check your Internet Configuration. is visable.

Sucks, cause I havn't been able to download or seed anything for awhile now.

Would be happy if someone knew the issue, tanks!

Xtras:
1.6 is whitelisted, but it is really old. Often times I find that upgrading old versions of programs magically fixes puzzling problems. I can't guarantee that it will do something but I would say it is worth a shot.
