Havoc10K:
it was a super-tank, don't fuck with super-tanks, and the point of it all was to stop the war from happening, the world as it was, it was already falling apart, the scene where they were on a battlefield (in a flashback) where the captain fell into a hole, it was the top floor of an old skyscraper, that might give you an idea of how old that world became, and what happeend, it was all a disaster in the past, lucky they didn't get off with nukes, the girls were ready to sacrifice themselves to stop a meaningless war.

Lord of Fire:
Note that the girls pulled off a surprise attack, which, if pulled off right, can be highly successful in battle (see: Pearl Harbor – probably the most famous surprise attack in recent history).

The enemy thought that the girls would have no choice but to surrender or die defending the fortress. They didn't know that their tank was repaired (most likely by Noël) and fully operational (assuming they even knew they had a tank), so when they broke out and attacked them head-on, the enemy had little time to defend themselves and so lost quite a few of their men before they regained their composure and cornered the tank. If the 'cavalry' hadn't arrived in the nick of time, the girls would've surely died fighting.

Havoc10K:
thats the difference that makes the element of surprise so important, l remmeber how l surprised some players playing in Starcraft as Protos, they played zerg, and "Zerged" my base, uppon destroying it they soon found out it was a decoy :D and my 8 zealots were raping their bases :D

they puleld it off nicely in that episode, it's fairly easy to shatter any resistance when your opponent is set to offense with no defensive lines prepared and you make a poop at them like that, pure chaos, l love this stuff in anime and movies, and especially in games, if you ask me this is one of the best action scenes episode in recent anime l saw, l'm looking forward to watch the BluRays in one go ;]

Edit:
Ova is out, and it's really nice, and it explains a few things about the series, I liked it :)

Seeing as how the thread I made was... well whatever, where can I get hold of the OVA?

I've watched all of the others so I may as well have them too. AnimeDB says Chihiro has released them, but I can't find them on the Chihiro web page. Maybe I'm just having a bad day.  ::)

EDIT: Never mind, I found both extra episodes via AnimeDB.

Is this licensed? ..
