Glennfidich...actua lly have been to that distillery, though I was too young to drink anything (14).  Not a scotch fan; I think it tastes like water run through old newspaper (never tried single malt, though my father has)

Hmm...I go for taste, not price personally.  So Seagrams Gin and Canada Dry Diet Tonic for me.

Bloody Marias (that's bloody mary mix with tequila...has a smoother taste than vodka)

As for beer, Yuengling is my choice, though I also like Killians, Becks Dark...and the Yuengling Porter is quite good.  If you really want a true porter, though, Fuller's London Porter is exquisite (but boy, it'll knock your socks off, the flavor is so intense)

Confession, the only thing I've had alcohol-wise for the holidays was a bottle of Red Oak, as their brewery is in Eastern Guilford County, NC, about 15 minutes from my mother's house.

hmm yea last night we opened the night with 3 rounds of shots of wild turkey with honey shit was soooooo sweet its not even funny and the fact that its only 70 proof makes it even worse. You could literally sit there and hammer them all night they were just retardedly sweet.
Then had shots of crown royal, jamesons, bushmills, jamesons, and there was a shot of dewars white label in there too some of those we did more then one of i dont really remember which.
And i was drinkin yuengling all night as were most of the rest of the party with a few people drinkin harp.

Then went home and started drinkin some gosslins black rum.

It was that, or beer. And I hate beer ><

I never got why people don't like beer. I will agree that Keystone and Naddi (Light and ICE) complete shit of beers. My beer of choice.. Corona bottles with 2 wedges of lime. So good to have that after a hard days work. :)

I'm a woman. Its a requirement :P

Don't be reverse sexist now.. I've seen plenty of women like beer (even Naddi), but it's not just girls that don't like beer, some guys don't as well. It's quite sad.

Have you never seen Al Murray? It IS a requirement :P

All bar men carry a belief system which dictates, "Pint for the feller and a glass of white wine or fruit-based drink for the lady!". Sometimes, multiple barmen will greet each other with a chant based on this expression.

Jamesons? Bleh.

Single malt scotch is the only whisky I'll drink, Glenfiddich, Glenlivet etc.

On the rocks? NO - Straight is the only manly way!

Southern comfort? Are you 15 years old?

-Kurandoinu - White wine and rose? YUCK ( ;))

I don't agree with you very often... but on this I agree.

Gimme a double Single malt Scotch, straight up, and I'm a happy man.

As for beer... I think my favorite beer is Toohey's New, which I had in Australia (great folk, those Aussies). But my beer of choice is generally Asahi Super Dry or Sopporo's normal brew.

Seriously? Toohey's? Did you have it on tap or from a stubbie?

On tap it is OK but i find in stubbies it tastes like arse and has a nasty taste at the bottom of the bottle. I'm glad i dont see it here.

On the plus side; it does have more flavor than a corona :D

I drink a fair bit of beer but i don't really have a favorite.

I like stouts more than lagers and ales

On tap. A stubbie is a bottle?

It's a bitter beer, I like Victoria's Bitter also. Found it odd I couldn't order it as Victoria's Bitter and had to use "VB" for anyone to understand me.

The arrogant bastard is alright except our store stopped carrying it. For beer I usually go with a duvel. But all depends what im drinking for. If im drinking to have a nice beer I stick with the darker stuff. If im drinking to get drunk I seem to go with a light ale.

And which me luck I just started my first homebrew batch of beer tonight.

WIN.  My roommate and I just found that beer for the first time a week ago at a store called World Market.

Although personally I liked Hobgoblin better...

im not a big beer drinker, as i personally dont enjoy its taste and it doesnt quench my thirst or get me drunk.

So in reality i just am not a huge fan of it. If i am thirsty i can have a coke or water. If i wanna get drunk i can drink liquor.

Thats my mindset, only was drinkin some beer cuz it was spacer for shots so we didnt run the tab up any higher

As someone progresses in age from a child to an adult, as the body needs different sustenance the makeup of taste buds changes to adopt a generally more bitter favour, which is why you generally come to beer as you mature  :D.

Asahi is fine as far as lager goes.

Stouts are good, but you can't drink only stout....

And I hate to have to mention, but GUINESS.

I guess I should add that my "boxing day" cheer, was LSD and ketamine hahaha. My vision is still washing around a bit.

No christmas cheer..  Just another day for me I guess.   I dunno, not much of a big drinker and now I'm physically incapable of processing alcohol so it doesn't matter.. But then again my idea of Christmas cheer would be a Pharmacy sized bottle of Vicodin, heh  ::)

It's GUINNESS; SINNER! And it beats the crap out of all the flavorless beers. (A.K.A Lagers)  ;D

A good bitter British ale is also nice.. :D

Amateurs.  ;D

You want real beer?

Guinness, like any Irish stout, is a massive, hearty beer... if you're a 12 year old girl who drinks Natural Ice.

And Jim Beam is to Bourbon what J&B is to Scotch - bottom of the barrel. If you want good Bourbon, look for Woodford, Knob creek, or Bookers.
