Hey all, I searched if there was a similar post but couldn't find so here goes...

There is a Japanese website where people vote for anime and according to what I read it worked for Inuyasha (The Final Act).

So there is a voting for Claymore which only needs ~1200 votes to be 10,000 and its over in ~3months.

Well its now up to 8.8k so I don't really think you need to worry about making it in time. Wasn't a fan of the series however if it something that you wish to pursue then I will happily help out.

I signed it. I believe it is only a matter of time before a second season, they might have to redo the last 2 or 3 episodes of season 1 though. The manga is coming out pretty slow so it will be awhile before they have a point where a good cutoff can occur.

There's a good chance they might have already been planning a second season of claymore. The reason why a second season hasn't come out sooner is that the manga off which it's based, is monthly, as opposed to weekly. It just recently passed the mark where there is enough content for a second season.

yeah, while I would love a new season (Claymore is my Fav. manga), the manga just isn't that far ahead. It takes 6 months for a new volume to come out here in America because of how slow it is in japan. It really sucks because I want to read the volume I have, but I know I will have to wait forever for the next one

They really need to redo the end of the series if they think of doing a S2. I would guess that the current arc (which can be seen as the second arc or the second half of the first arc) will need at least additional six months. And then they would have enough material for a second season. But as AceD said they won't start airing a second season right after the poll anyway.

Claymore started going off track right around the northern battle arc which is issue 49-52ish.

They're now on manga issue 99 in Japan.

There is most certainly enough content for a second season.

I hope they will really do a second season, being following the manga pretty much after the anime ended, only noticed they started their own plot after chapter 48.

honestly, I thought the manga was/is much better than the show, and trying to run a series off of it will be hard, since so little content comes out of the manga.

i really hope they do decide to give this anime a second series but as stated before they may have to redo the last few episodes or find some kinda of loophole :/

That's why you should never watch anime, and only read manga.
