Tachibana is somewhat fated to be alone though.
I'll be honest, so far I am liking her a lot more then Yuri, but, they keep hinting at little things with Yuri. She's pretty complex, so I may start to like her character more after the next few episodes.
We are also yet to see Tachibana use her fourth guard skill.

I think Otanashi will try helping her, I can't get the feeling off that he is meant to replace her in this world.

It's Key. They're known for their dramatic... twists.
They could all be still alive or all dead. If I had to take a wild guess myself, I think they're in some kind of purgatory waiting to move on.

we actually debated this a few pages ago, it is kind of Purgatory, a closed world for the dead by speciffic means, to realize what they wanted and move on, possibly to achieve, the only reason why Yuri is still there was because she doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that a god can be as cruel to prepare such fate to people, her being a perfect example of cruelty.
