I must say I was rather disappointed. I do not enjoy the "melee system" and I was really hoping for something extremely similar to what I remember from AvP2. Note that this is mostly talking about the alien side of things since I have yet to try out predator and the humans are sort of hard to fuck up (except that the shotgun and flamethrowers STILL seem to suck). The game seems to have devolved in a brawling match between preds and aliens with humans killing the winner. Hopefully this will be fixed with the introduction of more weapons in the full version.
Also is anyone else having trouble getting the wall climbing to work correctly?

I absolutely love Steam, buying games has never been easier.
I just saw the demo, and hope it's decent. I should be playing in a few minutes. I have no intentions of buying the game unless it's really, really good.

I'd have to say most of the people saying it sucks probably have no idea how the system works. Once you get it down it becomes a lot more enjoyable. They absolutely nuked the pred weapons, for better or worse.
