BakaBT & Transmission
« on: December 31, 2009, 06:11:35 PM »
Ello,

Trying to get my Popcorn Hour (Using Transmission 1.76) to connect to the tracker, but Im not having a lot of luck. First a bit of background:

I F'd up my ratio earlier this year (Didnt know/care) and now trying to fix it up by letting my C-200 act as a seedbox for several series I have already downloaded and are in popular demand. The way I did it was just find an alternate source of the identical torrent that's on BakaBT, made sure the files are named identical and started the torrent

For some reason tho, peers arent connecting to the C-200. It works fine on my desktop PC using uTorrent, but I dont wanna leave the damn thing on all day and night

I tried checking if there's a setting/config file I need to enter my BakaBT details into, but no luck - there's no such thing. Im guesing the tracker just looks at my IP and checks my ratio/permissions from there. Still doesnt explain why peers won't connect to my Popcorn Hour. To recap:

-Ports are forwarded correctly
-Files/folders named identically
-Functions just fine on my desktop

Help!

Our tracker is key-based, not IP-based.

Does the tracker scrape successfully, or are there error messages?  Does it list 0/0 seeds/leeches, or does it have an accurate amount, and the client just doesn't connect to any?
