Did you keep your 2009 New Years Resolution?
« on: December 31, 2009, 07:09:09 PM »
Before we get into new resolutions how many of us kept our old ones?
The only resolution I made was to watch more anime, and I did. I watched more anime in 2009 then I ever have.
How about everyone else?

Surprisingly...I made a resolution and met it.  ;D

My goal was to get better (and proficient) at playing live percussion in the studio.
And to start building up a database of various sound recordings.

Gotta think of one for next year now...

I resolved to try tuna sushi.

And I did. And I like it.

2010? Haven't thought of one yet.

The linear nature of your Euclidean geometry both confounds and befuddles me.

I didn't have a resolution for '09.  I was (and still am) right where I wanna be in life!
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

Forgot my old one....
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

If I remember correctly I believe mine was something along the lines of getting into anime more and not hiding the fact that I like it from people in general. I managed to keep that.

I kind of never bother to make a new year resolution, did not make one this year as well. Never understood this tradition.

Normally I do not care for such trifles. But I actually did make one and you can be your ass, sack and pecker that I did do the promised.

I don't remember making one last year. But then I was pretty darn happy on New Years then. But soon as 2009 showed up in gave me the finger. 2009 was a nasty year :/

This year I made one, but its only a new years resolution because I decided it now, if I'd have decided it in March it would be a resolution then too.

Gain at least 5kg preferably 10. (I already had some luck with that, so I don't look that skinny, still I eat for 5 people yet my metabolism refuses me to gain weight)

Buy new gaming rig, my old pc is at it's limits.

Visit yet another country in Europe that I have not been in and get drunk there.

Get away with murder.

Get laid with at least 4 different women during the next year. (one for summer, one for winter etc....)

here you go :D

yup according to that tread I did not make one last year even for a joke, but I figured one for this year - abuse less alcoholic liquids, should be fun....less booze, more weed .....

Speaking of new years resolutions, the busiest month of the year for gyms and athletic facilities is usually January. Irony is the February is usually the least busiest month.

That's because you're not thinking like a true human being. You get more stamina for February which is "love month" (AKA Valentines) Then you spend more time doing "physical activity" rather than athletic facilities. ;)

I find these "Watch more anime" resolutions quite disturbing, doesn't that seem on it's head to you?

Venture forth into the world in search of friends and ladies!

Err, as for me, no resolutions last year, and no technical resolutions this year - though I did quit weed (and the accompanying tobacco) mid-December and haven't faltered yet.
