Did you keep your 2009 New Years Resolution?

That's good. I managed just fine until I noticed just how expensive it got to go out drinking instead.
Not to mention how much less fun it was to watch anime ;)

Yeah, it would be a lot harder if I wasn't gainfully employed...

And given the fact that I live in London, in the middle of a 'financial crisis' - where a drink costs between £3-£5 ($5-$8), with entry charges on many doors... Well, I guess we've adapted to a few bottles of wine then heading out...

It takes a while to get over the associations with weed... Oh, whenever I did this in the past I'd be smoking a joint at the moment... This game used to be fun when I was stoned... Anime used to be interesting...

Really, I had to decide that it was what I wanted, for health, financial and motivation reasons. Once I'd really decided, it has been a lot easier than I expected it to be.
