Equality for men!
« on: January 02, 2010, 01:20:50 PM »
The society got it all wrong. It is anatomically incorrect that women wear skirts and men wear pants. We have the balls which desire for more freedom and thus it would make more sense for men to wear skirts.

Besides skirts for men (kilts) can look badass, just look at these ones:

So what do you think, should it be acceptable for men to wear skirts?
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Seriously, it should be acceptable for men to wear skirts... meh, call them Kilts from now on.

Of course, it does take a certain kind of attitude to make it work though.

Billy Connelly (the comedian) and Sean Connery can wear them and not look silly in any way shape or form, where as if I was to try it, it would certainly look strange!

It's traditional dress for certain countries and I surely would not want to laugh at a scotsman wearing a kilt!

There other forms of dress that give 'the boys' (to be polite) some freedom.

I believe that there is form of traditional Japanese clothing that fits the bill, although as I understand it, the particular form of clothing I'm thinking of was only for the higher ranking people, such as samurai and the like.

I could be wrong, of course.  ;)

harpy don't have anything against men wearing skirt. Most of the time looks really nice. ( my want to get the black skirt in the picture, damn nice)

I don't know about looking silly or anything, but I think if one feels uncomfortable wearing a skirt - yeah, he will look silly or sissy or what ever else. If one want to wear it and don't feel unconformable about it, then screw the rest and usually the one does not look silly or what ever...

well maybe not pink skirts, I still haven't gotten over men wearing pink anything

That's right respect the skirt though i've only worn a kilt once and only because it was to a wedding, they aren't all that bad.
I still wonder the answer to this question, do you lift the skirt up or pull it down when going to the toilet :-\

I had this insane dream where it was fashionable to wear this half skirt/trouser thing... basically everyone ripped out a jean leg and replaced it with a skirt type thing that came just under the knees. some people(including myself) had the faux skirt attached to the left half of the belt (most people tore the left trouser leg out.) Was AWESOME, and mine was purple. 8)
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

You can generally see me walking around Essex in this sort of clothing.

In the beginning there was skirts, the first unisex dress. But in the end it was men who invented the pants because we needed to cover our hairy legs, while women promised to keep theirs clean.

Honestly, I didn't like the idea of freedom to balls, they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.  :D

But I have to agree kilts definitely look badass

Forget the skirts. Let's go back to loin cloths. They're a million times more freeing than skirts.

Skirts are so you can hike them up for easy access....

I'm happy for it to be easier to access womens' loins than mens'... to be honest.

Also, men admire legs as an attractive attribute, whereas women mainly admire money, so there's no need for us to get cold! As well, my balls are long enough to need some support otherwise they could get twisted up or trapped in something, which would be nasty.

So overall, no, men don't need to wear skirts. And if you are, you're a tranny. Which is ok, just saying...

Togas are cool though.

That said sometimes I steal a dress if there's no dressing gown type things, so I can hardly talk! haha

Though I think ankle length skirts can work on men...

So, if men were to wear skirts, then when we pee... pants are still better.

I love kilts, they were part of my uniform for band in high school.

I'm planning on getting one sometime soon; since they're designed as male clothing nobody on base can say shit.

And they're super comfortable. And it would be epic to walk around Akiba in a kilt.

The linear nature of your Euclidean geometry both confounds and befuddles me.
