Gungslinger Girl - Il Teatrino OVA

I was in Best Buy browsing around,  actually hoped to find Gundam SeeD (all they had was Destiny) since I had some spare cash and its about the same price as anything online..  But I spotted this,  and also walked out with a new 1TB Caviar Black (still migrating files...ugh.. new boot drive)

Hoping to steal some time on TV tonight to watch it,  thinking it will hopefully be good.   I know some people have been whining about Il Teatrino not looking as good because it was done by a different studio with a smaller budget, but I thought it was decent, if not slow the first few episodes.

The OVA is two episodes and supposed to provide some closure to the end of the series.  It seems to focus on Henrietta, Rico, and Triela (all it mentions in the descrip.) and their handlers.   I'm guessing Triela will be the most interesting watch, as she changed a lot over the second series.

I do wish it were more than 2 episodes, but I guess we get what we get. It was only $12.99.  Still hoping for a third season.

I know some people around here have seen the series,  but don't know if anyones seen this.  Will report back on how it was.   I think the dubs for this series have been pretty consistently good for what its worth. 

Only thing that bothers me is the DVD case says  "35 minutes" but  sites have reported 24m per episode.. so I dunno.  hoping its not THAT short or I'm gonna be fucking pissed.

Iirc it's about the two brothers, Henrietta and Rico. It's fine. A small insight on the brothers' past.

EDIT: You should have used Gunslinger Girls 2 or Gunslinger Girls [1+2+OVA].
