Who knows what they could be putting out.  I just they just are not trying to milk to franchise.  Because if they are, it will lead to a very disappointing sequal.

I'd hardly call a third season to a phenomenal anime "milking the franchise".

Is the creator(s) originally planned for it to be a season or two, then doing a 3rd season or a spin off would be milking the franchise, as the investors/powers that be see it as a 'cash cow'. That's not necessarily a bad thing mind you. Franchises could and can be cut short. I reserve my own opinion until I see it.
