Update:
We finally got the landlord to remove the phone switch and permission to remove the glass overhang. So we went straight to work.

Finally done with the cloth, we bought 30 meters and used up 27 meters. Fairly well calculated I must say. We still need to go over it with a cloth-brush and a steam iron but that's for later.

Looking in the other direction we have the screen. Sadly my camera haven been able to produce a good picture while showing a movie. But take my word for it, it looks absolutely stunning.
Note the cloth hanging down behind the lamps. It's because during our first tests the light reflecting back from the screen lit up the lamps. Normally with a white ceiling you wouldn't notice but with the black they stood out too much because of the contrast. You can see it a bit enhanced (due to the flash) in the last picture.

Our technology corner :) We need to do something here so it looks better and are in better order. Probably the computer behind then bass speaker and then some shelf to put the receiver and VHS player on (it's used for some OLD Swedish dubbed anime).
As you can see we have also painted the bookcases black. We haven't had time to put the manga back in yet.

Now we just need new sofas and the room is as good as done.
