Code Geass OZC 1080 DA hangs on my WD HD player

Could be several reasons why it doesn't work, but I'm guessing that either the video is exceeding the h264 level supported or the WD HD players AAC decoder is not compatible with the AAC audio in that encode.

What if you remux the file so that the Japanese audio comes first? (so you don't have to switch)

E.g., use MKVToolnix (mmg.exe) and remove the second audio track.

Just saw this. I know one person that plays back my files on a WDTV, but I don't know if he was changing tracks. In any case, the remux suggestion is your best bet. Just set the 2nd audio and 2nd subtitle track as Default Track Flag = Yes. That should get you the full subs and Japanese audio.
