Borderlands anyone?
« on: January 12, 2010, 01:52:26 AM »
If anyone has borderlands and wants to play the multiplayer with me ( xbox 360 ) I have both of the DLC, and I love to play the game, if anyone would like to play just hit me up with your gamertag and ill add you. We can kill some badass raiders together ^_^ Oi and I recommend the new DLC Mad Moxxis underdome riot to anyone who has the game, its so epic and sooooo much fun!!!

Oi, I love pc gaming dont get me wrong. Its a great game but best played multiplayer. Its really what the game is bred for. I might get it for the PC this summer when I have expendable cash XD. Right now all I have it for is the 360 sadly. Same thing for left 4 dead 2, I have 1 on the pc and 2 on the 360, XD also the same for modern warfare. 1 for the pc and 2 for the 360. Its kinda funny when you think about it. Its defently worth it though.

To many cheats on PC shooting games, and joypad requires more skill...console shooters starting to flourish!

I play Uncharted 2, thats awesome...

Haha, I'm the exact opposite. I'll never play a console shooter. Keyboard / mouse all the way. On a sidenote: many of the same exploits, cheats, etc. can also be done on console versions. See MW2 for example.

I have it for the PC, and you can really feel it's console port feel. It's a decent game though.

I won't recommend the second DLC. I don't blindly buy them just because I liked the original game. The second DLC seems like crap, to be honest. It's not a PvP game, really...

I'm not very impressed by http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbox360/borderlandsmadmoxxisunderdomeriot anyhow.

I thought it was mainly about PvP outside the arena though, something that was sort of implied in the Steam store page.

its a fun game but has zero replay value, the models in the game are limited to about 10 different enemies not counting bosses.

And for the spider ants and skags there is fire shock and corrosive of each.

Guns are fun but lose the initial fun after the fire playthrough or so.

There is no challenge in the single player at all, the skill trees make things a bit interesting but the ability to only choose between a couple basic classes and there isnt much range in them.

But it was a fun game.

Just dont buy it for xbox, rent it with gamefly or something like that or borrow it in a week or two youll prolly be done with it.

It can be quite fun playing it on LAN or basically with friends. We always crackup in laughter when one of us thinks they know how do handle a situation, goes running ahead on thier onw, only to start begging to be revived a few seconds after XD.
Good times, good times.

Siren is such a cool class but makes the game so easy, the only class that takes any skill is the hunter. *Plays hunter.* Bloodwing for the win, allthough I dont go into his tree hes still cool!

Well to be honest thats your personal opinion. I dont get bored of the game, just like I might get bored of a game that you wouldent, if he has the cracked version then apparently he has played the game and has yet to get bored. Everyones entitled to their opinions.

Wut. Hunter is like the easiest class ever. Just run into an area, use bloodwing, wait, ?? ?, profit.
