I drew my first manga image today (Opinions needed!)

Ok, so today I got my graphic tablet and my Manga Studio EX4 fired up.. and I started drawing, this turned out and I want your opinions!

Now I know it's not that good or even average, but this is the first time drawing ever! I wold just like opinions and or help! Thanks for the opinions!

Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Every time you see "first" and some derivative of "drawing" in a sentence together it usually means horrible, horrible things are about to be done to your eyes.

It was hand drawn, no scans, just using a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Manga Studio EX4.

Really? Is it ok? I know practice will make me better too.

I like it. Although it does look like the left side (right to observers) of her head may have a tumor in it. XD 
But since it was done on a tablet I suspect it's a bit harder to do than pen & paper.

Keep up the good work dude and you'll improve very fast!

Tip: mirror the image along the horizontal axis and make sure it looks proportional in both forms. It will look significantly better when you do so.

Here is the thing with that though, I want to be able to do angle drawings without the need to resize eyes and etc. I need to practice being able to draw an entire face without cheating

That trick is what professionals use every time. If you don't do that, your characters won't ever look right.

though she does have a pretty big dome!

i mean her head looks too large to me
and i draw too, by hand, so i can say her head is dumbass big and its constructive crticism.

but if you wanted her head to be big its all good.

On another note:
The image is pretty good save for the fact that the head is slightly skewed to the left side. (AKA: Tumor head)

Otherwise, it's pretty well done.

Looks great for your first time. I have seen LOTS worse but for a beginner its awesome ^^
