Anyway, i notice that thers one group that has a BD rip out in english: AL-TTZ. Are they any good? Id never heard of them. Not sure if i should snag taht or wait for someone decent to do it

2nd question.. anyone knwo where i can read teh manga these days? onemangas gone, mangafox doesn't have it, nor do any of the other online readers i have bookmarked. I do notice this site has a good chunk of them uploaded, but not up to the current volume. Im not even sure if it still being scanlated

Has anyone watched the BD version yet? I have both 1080p and 720p and wanted to know if the OVA deserves watching it in 1080p... I already watched a few minutes of the first episode in both resolution and have an opinion but I want to hear what others say. I don't trust my eyes in that regard and am no encoder^^

Black Lagoon is my favorite anime and unfortunately I don`t really like manga.
Oh well, at least there`s still 4 episodes left of the OVA`s.

No it isn't, but the arc after 'El Baile de la Muerte' hasn't enough chapters yet to even fill 2 episodes

What the hell did they do to the gun & bullet scene? That was too dull for words... the manga is full of energy due to the conversation, one of my faves along their row at the market and here they shorten it to a 'meh' scene with Rock looking like a complete retard and a domesticated Revy? I don't get why they are so stuck on making Rock more wimpy than in the manga, I don't get why they made Revy so out of character (In the anime it IS like she is his mummy or babysitter) and certainly not why they tone down the bond between those two... F;ex. Here they are focusing that it would be coming to Roanapur that made him to what he is now (a bullet instead of a lump of lead)  while the manga attribute's it to meeting Revy.

Quite disappointed but expected it...  Oh well, At least the fan service wasn't completely butchered :p

Again, somehow these OVAs just miss that something.
I don't get the same FUCK YEAH!  feeling I get from the series.
But maybe it's just the baila e la muerte. It was lousy in the manga too.

WHAT?! are you serious tweed? They screwed up that scene? That was one of the main reasons i was stoked for the OVA. That was such a powerful scene. I havent watched the OVA yet because im rewatching teh series with a buddy of mine who hasn't seen it first and starting over again with the manga since i stalled partway through. Your description of it sounds weak as hell. Im gonna have to try to finish up the rewatch and give this a look now that theres a half decent fansub out there (tastymelons ok i hear?)

please tell me we at lest get the shower scene.. please? If theyre gonna take out the impact of the scene i at least want to see Revy's tits =P
