So I got myself to use SMPlayer recently as my nice lovely beloved Light Alloy become to virus infected for my antivirus (avast) and now there is a little problem, not really a big one, but I would prefer not to have it.

So the problem - I am using 2 monitors and the darn video stops to show up when I put the darn SMPlayer on secondary monitor. The sound is still running and no hitching basically no problem with the sound, but the video is missing. And I like to use both monitors for working and its more convenient to have video running on secondary monitor and for some strange unexplainable reason I would also like to see what I am watching.
Never had problem like this with Light Alloy and now with zoom player or media classic, never had a problem like that with these two. And I will not stick to using them - as zoom player is a bitch with some video formats and classic one just annoy me.
Oh yeah and for some strange reason I am able to take screenshoots of video just by printing the whole screen, I know it is not supposed to be so. Had  problem like that before, but it got fixed by someone, but that was a long time ago and I don't remember how.....

What did I do wrong this time? How can I make SMPlayer show me video on both screens?

That's not really how viruses work, so you might want to work on fixing that problem first (or instead) of this one.

I don't have a license for the Light Alloy, it's cracked so that's how it can work. And I do not plan to buy that thing. I would rather prefer to fix this problem.

Have not looked into why but I can tell you that its not a virus.  I run dual monitors and Media player will not show the video portion of whats being played if its on the secondary monitor.  I think the video codex's have not figured out the dual monitor thing yet and only recognize the systems default monitor.

Oh, I know its not a virus giving the problem with the video, it's a virus corrupting my Light Alloy player .exe file and deleting it. And I have not seen a windows based program that can work without.exe file up till now. I know classic media player do not show the part of the video when it's moved from one monitor to another monitor. And I know that zoom player have no problem showing image while being on both monitors at the same time.  BUT as I was saying before - the other players DO show video on the secondary monitor with not a hint of problem, its the smplayer that does not do that.
as image sows from the top:
1. zoom player - work on both
2. mpc - shows image on that side of the monitor where the most of it windows is
3. smp - not seen on the image, but it does show image on the monitor on the left (with the start thing and icons) and does not show image on the right monitor

oh yeah and I do have vlc one, but I dont like the new version when all is merged together, I have lost my vlc ~7 version or what ever, when there was separate thing for vide on for all the play and so on buttons.

I guess this is some kind of glitch in smplayer >_<

I guess I need a new one now - any suggestions for a freeware player that works on both monitors?
