I've heard (don't know what's true or false) that there will be a season 3 of Spice and Wolf.
Have you heard anything about this ?

that would be me first hand, the season 3 won't be announced yet for at least half a year, if l'm correct they will release BDs then another book and maybe by june well hear about this but ta least we can hope for it ;]

Horo appearing in Durarara is just a anime reference that Brain Base made. There's nothing more to it.

If there are any announcements to be made for Spice and Wolf 3, it's will probably be around March or April assuming history repeats itself. I'm only speaking of the announcement. Not when the show will air.

I wonder If there is still hope for a season 3 even though its 2011. What I mean to say is that it's been a while now and I've heard nothing about season 3 Officially coming out. I am quite sad :'( about this. Does anyone have light from my dieing hope.

I see no reason why there wouldn't be a season 3. Spice and Wolf is popular enough and there is a lot left to tell about the story. Of course nothing is guaranteed as we've seen other quite popular series left uncompleted. Let's just hope for the best.

I liked the anime, but the novels are so much better. The writer's style is excellent and reminds me more of stienbecks writing, if not as good.

Only up to 3 has been release, though.

Quite frankly, there is a huge load of material to use, however, since the show was very popular, they want to screw us over and make us suffer, if any announcement of S3 should come this year it would be best to announce it around April/May, and air the show around December/January 2012

Thanks for reminding me of the novel... Just checked and I can order them for 10 euro's a piece and they got all 3 novels <3 gonna get those asap

OT: I'd love to see a S3 to be announced, Just that I don't see it airing this year, perhaps 2012? Willing to be suprised though

Like I said, best moment for announcement would be middle of spring, and airing by the very end of the year, or start of another.

Sadly I also have those 3 volumes, read them 2 times by now, got a few more pages from translated on the net. But it looks like someone did not feed the translators and they died out o_O

Maybe 2012, maybe not. There is 10+ novels so content not the issue. I'm not sure if there is sufficient interest, though.

Sucks that the manga doesn't even cover the first season.

On a side note, is there still a site where I can read the novel online translated into English?
(I can't seem to find any... or I'm not looking hard enough xD)
