Anglerfish:
Initial [non-troll] views on The Arrival from /v/:

(click to show/hide)"Arrival: 3/10, Action intensive, Hackett! Awful 'bridging' mission, poorly written, no real choices, Solo mission only, short and very expensive for the content,"

"I read a preview that said Arrival would take 2-3 hours to complete. I steamrolled it in under one, and I never skipped a single line of dialogue. I've seen bigger DLC thrown out for free."

"Arrival is a monument to Mac Walter's influence on the series. Shit, linear, inaccurate, full of plot holes."

"Its like an hour long. It's only worth pirating."

"If you really like ME, then yes. If you plan to play it in any other difficulty other than Insanity, and you only moderately care about ME, then don't get it. It's kind of short."

Havoc10K:
so it's bad :P

Anglerfish:
Yup, probably. /v/ liked all of the previous DLCs, but they're also rather disgruntled after Dragon Age 2.

(click to show/hide)I will still acquire it and play it for myself, though.

Havoc10K:
just dl it from isohunt lol, no need to pay for crap, :P

the only character DLCs that were good were Kasumi and Liara's, anything else was probably arse, Zaeed looks like and arse as well :P

Takeshi:
I don't regret buying it, though I have to agree with the shooting, there's a lot of shooting lol. Still worth playing, imo.

Now, I'm not one to encourage pirating games, but aren't the DLC downloads pretty easy to pirate? I mean, it's just an .exe file that seems to work for other people's installs as well?
