Mass Effect 2

<< < (19/34) > >>

Takeshi:
Mass Effect is off 75% today until 10am Pacific time.

Mass Effect 2 is off 40% until same time.

A pretty good deal if I must say so.

By the way, it's on Steam.

newy:
Which Mass Effect is 75% off? (Not that I care since I have both ;D)

The first game. I edited my post.

I only bought the first game.
It seems there's a lot of talking and it resembles a Japanese RPG so not buying the second game just now.
Mass Effect is 10GB and that's only the first game. D:

Sosseres:
It is a story driven RPG with a third person combat system. The second game is more of a third person combat game with a story driven RPG part.

Takeshi:
I finished playing Mass Effect 2 recently. It was a pretty decent game. Then I started up Mass Effect 1 and it felt worse than the second game. Everything about it just feels a bit worse than Mass Effect 2. I wanna play the first game, but everything just feels so wrong about it.

I didn't particular like the story in Mass Effect 2. Basically, you go around for the first 10 hours recruiting people. Okay, fine. But that's basically what you spent most of the game around. Imo, there wasn't enough Collector's confrontations. I think I meet them around 3-4 times during the game. And I also felt like it needed a center villain. As I recall, Saren was that villian in Mass Effect. I played the first game until the game introduced him.

I'm not really a strategist so I hardly ordered my men to do anything but come back to me when I needed help. :P

What I find most appealing to this game is of course the characters themselves, and especially the voice acting because that was brilliant.

Relationships were also very interesting to follow. Personally, I went for Miranda since she's the obvious choice. At one point it almost overshadowed the game itself. I think I went to talk to her about 10 times during a game session to see if "things had quiet down". :P

Right now I am searching planets fro their resources so I can upgrade my stuff while taking various missions. Not a lot to do else, right?

Also, a question? There's this choice when you finish the game. I choose to continue my save since I hadn't searched the entire galaxy. Can I re-do that choice at some point and start a new game with all my accumulated stuff?
