Comcast fails at life itself

Xiong Chiamiov:
The way to get cable companies to do something is to threaten to cancel.

Mag-X:
Where do you live where you get 60/12 with Comcrap? Comcast doesn't even offer that here, and they have to compete with FiOS. The fastest they offer is 50MB/s down with a pitiful 10Mb/s up for $100/mo.

I also noticed a nice jump in speed about a month ago. Not like that, but my 20Mbps down 2Mbps up seems to have jumped to 24Mbps down and 4Mbps up. I haven't had any problems however. I'm kind of wondering if someone canceled and I'm getting the spare bandwidth.

Right it is 50Mbps down 10 Mbps up but with power boost it can reach over 70Mbps down and 15Mbps up.

Here is the main problem

When doing a trace on my connection it times out on the second hop. This would be my local hub. When the first hub fails it goes to a second hub (which is further away). Causing the lag and drop in speed.
