Texhnolyze has a destructive ending. I can not say I prefer sad endings but Texhnolyze is an exception imo.

I'd say it more depends on how well the ending fits with the story is what drives me to liking an ending, despite it being happy or sad.

(click to show/hide)I don't mean anyone in person, but if you can't explain how its ending happened, you weren't paying attention during the 1st season, but if you can and still hated it.... well you were shown the signs during the show, wonder if this was discussed in the Clannad topic already?
Other than that, I choose mostly happy.
