Well, things here got old,and with all this new tech I feel old.
I want to have the following upgrades:
1.PC system upgrade:
Well,my PC had his 3rd birthday, which was celebrated by a 3 day marathon of ME1 continued with one day with 11h and a half in ME2.
Things run perfectly,a bit laggy here and there, but no other issue.However,ME2 isn't so demanding.
Well, enough about me and my PC.Let's concentrate on him. When I bought him 3 years ago,he could run perfectly Crysis, which at that time meant a lot.I remember spending on it about 550 euros, everything less speakers, monitor and inputs(keyboard and mouse). He has 2Gb or RAM,a intel dual-core of 2.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 2600+ Pro as his video card.Aside from acquiring new HDDs,nothing has changed.
I am looking for some upgrades.Basically,I'll buy another 2/4 Gb of RAM,since one 25 euros, the processor will likely be a quad core Inel of 4GHz,and at the video card I'm really stuck.I don't want nVidia, since it has quite a lot of issues, but any suggestion is welcomed.
2.A new TV:
Don't get me wrong,I love my 102/107cm wide(never clearly understood) HD Ready Sony Bravia. But as an avid and PS3 gamer fan of movies,I want a LCD with Full HD capabilities. In my opinion,I'd still take a Full HD Sony Bravia with the same specifications, but I need some advice.I don't want to regret the money I'll spend on it.
3.A surround system:
I really want/need this.I have my TV connected through an DVI-HDMI cable to my PC,and am using it as my second monitor.I still didn't figure out a way to make the sound come out through the TV's speakers, not the PCs.Anyway,I'm sick of these stereo speakers.Really sick.I'd personally would go with Sony again, since a lot of my hardware at home is Sony(PS3,TV),but I'm really out in the cold on sound systems,so I really need your help on this one.
And yes,I intentionally spoke of my PC as a living thing, since I love him.Ok,this just sounds wrong..I'll shut up now.
