--- Quote from: mgz on January 25, 2010, 05:42:56 AM ---From my personal experience I WILL NOT and suggest you DO NOT purchase anything over the internet. My belief behind this is that in the event you find the display not to be to your liking once you get it into your house, find dead pixels, its damage, etc etc. You are able to walk into the store and say FUCK YOU ASSHOLES TAKE IT BACK AND GIMME MY MONEY.

To do so on the internet, expensive shipping back. Expensive insurance on the expensive shipping. Restocking fees if you dont fit their strict guidelines for you to return it. AND last but not least, DEAD PIXEL POLICIES. Dead pixels while much less frequent currently and especially in TVs do happen. Problem being that its usually only a few dead pixels. Dead pixel policies are there to make it a pain in the balls to return your shit if isnt REALLY bad. So they require you to have upwards of 10-15 dead pixels before it can be exchanged.

These policies are meaningless in a store since you can more or less tell them to fuck off and give you your money back.
