Last night i saw a 7.0 MB/s download ( i was like wtf

) and fastest upload speed was like 2.0 MB/s. I am surprised about these speeds because my max download is 100 kb/s -.- and upload 10 kb/s hahah

It happened to me few months ago.
When a typhoon is about to hit our country. my download speed is hitting 600kbps
(my Max download is 60kbps and my max upload is about 20kbps.).

maybe its because the Internet Highway is so busy due to many users who surf everyday. Thats why, before the typhoon comes in our country, everybody stop surfing and it makes the Internet highway free.

Do you have FiOS or something?

The highest I get is just a little over 1mb... but it does depend where I'm getting the stuff from.

oh lol i think you misunderstood, i didnt mean my speed, i mean generally the fastest speed you ever saw, as i said my max dl is 100 kbs

fastest ive seen was on my old comcast service where my connection was less stable but anywhere from 18-40mb connection.

So on the highside i would see really good numbers like 4 mb/s for short periods of time

on fios i will now see 2.2 mb/s steady tho

Fastest I've ever gotten was on my seedbox, 9.6 MB/s... It was a 16 GB file and I got it in like 12 minutes tops... then took about 2 hours to download it to my computer...

Wasn't with torrents tho, it was with usenet!

With Torrents:
Current Home ISP (cable): 180KB/s
Previous Home ISP (dsl): 810KB/s
Uni (early morning): 1.7MB/s
Cousin's House in Houston: 1.2MB/s

Best that I remember 100% was 9,7MB/s (total DL) during last freeleech

(if i remember correctly i have hitted over 10mb/s)
And upload is 300-350KB/s at it's peak.

Fastest download I've seen in person is 2.2 mb/s sustained when I still had my NB8W (magic smoke :'( RIP).

I don't think anyone in my neighbourhood has this kind of speed.

Just looking at these speeds I'm starting to feel sorry for a friend I know.

His download speed tops at 40kbps (on a good day) because his parents limits the internet, lol.

Defiantly the slowest around here o.o;;

The fastest I have ever seen was 13MB/s down and 8MB/s up. I was at my moms office (well I was outside with my laptop connected to their wireless access. no password for about a year). I was so downloading torrents on their network

You guys should trying working at an ISP's central command center, you'll get a chance to peek at the current stats, those numbers go all the way up to hundreds of gigabits.

around 36MB/s upload on mass effect 2 public torrent, was testing then. On bakaBT it was 19.5MB/s on OZC's 1080p GiTS torrent.

I cap my download to 8MB/s, so thats best i see

heh. on my own connection, the fastest I've seen is 1MB/s. on average I get ~200-500kB/s, so I was quite amazed.

well you didnt state if it was internet XD

ive seen a 100MB/ps lan (dc hub)

but for internets about 5 MB (right next door to the exchange cabled) it was for a buisness i was working on.

but my home connection gets a little depressing only 500KB MAX it usualy gets around 450 (12-19 seders)
