What do you use to watch Anime?

Crimson13:
This isn't your usual software question (MPC-HC btw), i'm talking screen and playback here.

For example:
I watch most of my anime, streamed off my mediatomb server to my LG BD390C Blu-Ray player connected to my Samsung 42" LCD TV.
I have to convert some of my anime using Handbrake to H.264 MP4 to get full smooth playback, and sometimes i have to perform magic to get the subtitles to work, but watching it all on a bigger screen with surround sound (on the releases it's available on) is definitely worth any hassle.

Does anyone else jump through hoops with their content before they watch it?

Nikaido:
I don't, since I have my TV acting like a second monitor. But I only use it to watch videos or to keep the task manager accessible in case a mod crashes one of my games and alt-tab doesn't return me to the desktop (happens with GTA mods).

DaggerLite:
I usually just watch it on my laptop or desktop, but I might connect it to "our" HD TV with a simple HDMI cable when I'm visiting back home (not sure how many inches it is). I've only done this for films though. At my friends' homes we'll be watching stuff on their projectors (sometimes animation, but not Japanese anime *sadface*).

I honestly just enjoy watching my anime on the PC screen. It's not like any of it looks overly awesome on a bigger screen anyway.

Some of it does, if it's from a blu-ray source, but the main point of watching it on a big screen is it's a lot easier to share :)

Akecu:
Since i have a small room i gave away my old box monitor and use my 32" TV as a monitor => Play File -> Bed -> wireless keyboard+ mouse with 2.1 Speakers or Fatality Headset with extension cord -> Awesome anime watching experience :D
