I watch it on my 24'' screen or on my Ipod (yes one of those tiny Ipod videos) too bad I always got to do the annoying job of extracting subs from Mkv etc etc

the only thing l extract from mkv files are the horrible english dubs audio tracks, they always kill the mood.

My screen is only 19" screen.. Which sucks. And being poor student doesnt help at all.

I use MPC on my laptop.
Sometimes I watch anime on our HD TV downstairs but I can only do that when I'm home alone

Laptop hooked up to 47" LCD TV via VGA(can't be helped..). Audio -> ATH-AD900 because my speakers suck. :p

Everything is upscaled to 1080P with MadVR which is a great neutral video renderer IMO.

Of course, sometimes I just watch on 14" screen of laptop and that is good too. ^^;

Well, I hope that projection devices can be affordable in the 300-400US$ range in the short term with the recent advances in technology so that more people can enjoy this entertainment in that immense scale.

I didn't use my LCD monitor (19" 16:9) for the last 2 years for watching movies and anime other that previewing purposes.

The only setback is you can't use it in until it gets dark, which is less of a problem in the winter.

Definitely a different experience.

If I'm at the computer desk, my dual-core 2.60Ghz HP, with a 20' BenQ monitor, but if I want to relax, I'll use the same PC with a 81cm Sony Bravia instead.

Used to watch on my 16" Laptop's screen.

Now i have a 23" 1080p monitor.

I still use my laptop if i want to watch some anime at the college or whatever but that's about it.

My laptop or i i want to multitask, or just see it bigger, I hook it up to my HD TV. It's not a new one or very big, but stuff looks very nice on it in my little apartment. lol.

Off topic so maybe someone can PM me an answer, but what is the best way to do this? I hadn't thought of this before, but I'd love to lose the dub audio tracks...I never use them.

MKVtoolnix if you want to keep it in MKV form. AllToAVI if you want to make it into an avi file.

I don't know if they're the best, but they are the ones I use.

Oh right, though I don't regularly watch live action, I do have some that go all the way down.
