The comment about iboobs or redundant apps etc. being how Steve Jobs controls Apple. I mean come on... that's just being stupid about a certain qc function. I dislike Apple just as much as the next guy and even I think that's being out of line.

They can do whatever they like with their distribution channel, whether it's prohibiting graphic content or competing apps. I'm just saying that if you buy into Apple, it's your only distribution channel. Just like a game console, though perhaps less now than before.
As long as they have the market share, they'll have developers. But they won't have the developers that can't afford to be shut down or the developers capable of expanding the limits of the device, not to mention the developers who can't be arsed to work in their proprietary platform.

Meh, I accept it as a fail on my side then, understand it from my position, as I am not bothered of reading through 12 pages about an iPad.
