The only thing that bugs me about that BMW is the fact the inside is so dirty. Clean it up dammit and get some shiny!

That... and I really hate that green color. (I owned a car of that color though...)

So your meaning to tell me that you traded in a Rotary engine (with a Turbo no less) for an M3 which will cost you ten times more money to repair? Plus RX-7's are a dead car, thus having a dead car makes you cool. M3's will still be made when the world ends.

But my opinion... I hope your happy with your new M3! :D

I love the 87-93(I think) generation 5 series BM's.  They're fairly cheap too and if maintained properly they'll run well over 200k miles.  The new generation I think is f'n ugly.  Would never buy a new BM.

yep i did.  i decided to sell my unreliable rotary and go with the best motor design ever.  the M is faster and handles better.  also i wanted some of the luxury features that it has.  Ive owned and built a lot of cars (its what i do actually) and i wanted something more luxury/sport.  Im getting old lol cant drive around in stripped race cars forever.  and as far as repair costs, no mater what car i own thats not really a concern.  i have corporate accounts at every parts store, dealership and most parts manufactures.  and i do my own work.  so that kind of thing isnt a concern for me when buying a car.

At least your one of those people that are smart enough to get a manual transmission. I had a friend who's dad bought an auto '91 BMW (forgot which model) that fucked up a year later. He had to spend a shit load of money on getting the transmission replaced. But then this transmission problem could be the fault of the previous owner not driving it correctly.

That's usually the problem with transmissions :D

I think I broke one in driving school car the first time I sat in that wore down car, it was a horrible car, I am amazed how people who do not know how to drive could learn to drive with that darn thing. And I still don't get how to drive with the automatic transmission, you can't make all these fast starts (when you let the car run in lower gear that is needed at that amount of rev, something like that, dunno how its called correctly) and so on.... :D I have driven a automatic transmission cars few times and I felt like granny..... Then again I drive only at these times when I am the one less drunk, I hate driving a car, I prefer to be passenger :)
Oh, and I also dislike BMW, but that's just because here all "new russians" have one and all acts like a bitches. A really horrible crowd of people, acting like idiots and thugs while listening to some crappy russian pop and spitting sunflower seeds around while sitting on the hood the BMW no matter how crappy the one it drives >_<

I love my auto.  I'd only get a stick for a secondary vehicle or a classic.
