Unless HL2:EP3 comes out this year by some miracle, this will probably be the best game of 2010. IMO:D

Ok.
However, I believe that Ep3 will be as enjoyable as the previous games.
Valve has misunderstood the point of episodes though....

I'd perfer if they just won't do an ep3 and skip to HL3. I've waited too long for this episodic balls

I honestly can't wait to finally get my hands on this. I've been waiting for too long and everything, from the trailer to the screenshots is making my finger itch...

The trailer looks freakin' sweet.
I'm a little skeptical after the second Deux Ex as well... but I mean this time around I hope they work out the gameplay/bugs before release.
And of course Square-Enix might not be the greatest when it comes down to game mechanics but they are Gods at CGI.

German site but the trailer is in Japanese since it's from the Tokyo Game Show.

Iam looking at some games at Play.com and it says "Due for release on 25 March 2011".
Gametrailers.com says "28th February 2011".

More waiting  :-\

Could the thread be re-named to "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" since it's its official title?

I remember playing the first game, then I dropped it after 10 minutes being quite disappointed of it. Ugly graphics and uninteresting plot. I was young so maybe I needed to mature a bit. I doubt I'll like it more now though. Maybe after I play Human Evolution.

This game looks awesome to say the least, definitely one of the more interesting titles of 2012, yeah, I don't think we're getting this in 2011. Though it could be a nice surprise.

Yes, because you can tell the plot after the 10 minutes :P Unless you absolutely can't stand bad graphics (which weren't bad in the time when it was released) you should play first Deus Ex... and System Shock 2 while you're at it :P

Is Amazon reliable? I mean, just because they have one date doesn't mean the developer's can't hold back the game.

I've just heard a lot of news regarding it being pushed back so it wouldn't surprise me if we got this in 2012. I'd rather they spent time polishing it, too many games are being released prematurely. Black Ops to name one.

Strange how this thread comes alive again literally 2 days after I start my replay of Deus Ex... But yeah, it's supposedly getting pushed back, and I'm with Takeshi, that's a good thing

lol

You compare Deus Ex with Black Ops?! You compare a supposedly game of the year with a stagnant franchise that hasn't changed anything in like three continuations?

A actually finished product is always good but where did you hear those news? And I doubt they'll push it back.

EDIT:

Next week we'll know more. -> http://twitter.com/Jeffachoo/status/43807284391985152#

And according to my (German) news sources the game will be released sometime beginning April 2011 (that is the start of the new fiscal year(?). Game was originally planned for Feb'11 but postponed to the next fiscal year)

Eh, where do you find me comparing Black Ops to Deux Ex? I was simply stating that too games are being released way too soon. Or at least the developers aren't making sure it's at least playable. And that's where I mention Black Ops because it's one of the worse moments of gaming I've had in 2010.

Nice find, looking forward to hearing what the date will be.

UK release: August 26th, 2011

The rest of Europe will most probably be around that date too then.

Note that the leak has most graphical settings locked to low. (my computer SILL has difficulty though)
