Deus Ex 3
newy:
The last two endfights after Fedorova were lulz... lulz as in piss easy (at least on normal).
My thoughst on the game:
Awesome! Some developments were easy to predict but all in all I really liked the story/storytelling. To a certain degree I really could understand Jenson's motivations and inner thoughts.
The graphics really weren't that great but tbh I was so captivated by the story that I quickly ignored it. I really loved how there were so many ways to the location of your objectives or the dialogue options when you have your social aug upgraded. Really cool tools to influence the conversations (where possible of course).
If you want to be nearly op try to take down enemies non-lethally and in cqc. In the end I only had like 10 praxis points missing. The complete stealth (8 pts?) and hacking analyze augs (the cranium augs). Because of the over abundance of praxis points and imo superfluous augs I didn't know where to invest the last points.
Imo, a fitting prequel/"sequel" to Deus EX.

Yeah finished the game myself.
Here is a tip: want boss fights to be trivial? Get Typhoon as soon as possible. I literally used typhoon only on boss and in a fight where I saved my helicopter pilot. However boss fight are challenging without it, so in some manner Typhoon is like cheating.
Get CASIE augs. Persuasion successes that give you silver tongue gives you 1000xp just like that. Also CASIE makes persuasion system the best I have ever seen in a game.
In the end of the game I had an abundance of auto hacking thingies (forgot the name), you can probably abstain from level 5 hacking aug, because I had more of those hack thingies in my inventory in the end of the game, than level 5 locks.
Icarus aug is freaking awesome. I love jumping from really high places :)
I played a sneaky character and I never used a cloak aug or stealth enhancer on normal difficulty. The game is set up in such way that you can sneak through levels without those.
Smashing through walls is really useful, that aug is priceless.
Inventory augs are so handy to max out. I don't know how it is possible not to have those. But then again I always had abundancy of money, probably because of my looting.
All in all, this is a great game. It does stand up to the original in my opinion. The only thing that I missed was melee weapons.

You have the arms of death. I can beat two people senselessly AT THE SAME TIME. I don't think melee weapons were needed with those fancy arms.

Yeah, melee weapons were dearly missed. *imagines take down animations*
Right, stealth enhancers was the name^^ Totally useless. I wouldn't want to miss the cloaking aug though. Icarus is pure win!
Imo, Typhoon was also totally useless. Ok, against bosses a nice to have but they are also easily dealt with with the combat rifle:
Barrett: Pillar to pillar. Ok, I used some Frags because imo he had heavy protection.
Fedorova: Watch the waves in the water. At that time I already had some dmg reduction and emp shielding though, so that made it easier as well. Also tried it with the Typhoon for lulz, two charges and she was done :D
Namir: Fight in the middle. Strafe left <-> right with the middle wall as the center :D Namir likes to climb >_>
Endfight: Hide behind a pillar. Done...
(click to show/hide)It is possible to save Malik? ;_; Well, I didn't think of using Typhoon then >_<
Did you guys give van Bruggen a weapon in the Alice Garden Pods? I let him die. Why should I give him my dearly pimped weapons D:

In this play through, I've been using just hacking/clock and I've just been walking past enemies... splitting them up... and then taking them down without using a single weapon (just my arms, baby!). It's so much fun... but I will admit that it's taking me some time to get through the game.
