Deus Ex 3

newy:
I did so most of the time (cqc earns you 50 xp each time you take down an enemy). I think in five encounters I reprogrammed the robots/turrets though :D Fun. Kills earn you only 10 xp, well I don't know what lethal take downs earn.

(click to show/hide)EDIT: Argh, yes, Malik can be rescued >_<

Did you have an endless supply of those energy chocolate bars? Because I found out that one energy cell will recharge.... slowly. All other ones will not recharge at all unless you eat something. Thus I could not use that takedown trick too often.

Lethal takedown is 40 I think. Also a normal kill is 10, but a headshot kill is 20xp (majority of my kills were those with my silenced sniper rifle or my silenced 10mm pistol). Non lethal shot (tranq rifle or stun gun) is 30xp.

Did you guys give van Bruggen a weapon in the Alice Garden Pods? I let him die. Why should I give him my dearly pimped weapons D:

I used typhon when I jumped from second floor and landed between a military grade robot and 2 guys with a heavy rifle each, it insta killed them removing all that firepower at once is a big help to save Malik.

I gave van Bruggen a stock revolver that I picked up earlier.

I only used it when two guys where grouped up together. The trick is to use it when you only have 2/3 battery bars... that way it'll recharge the 1/3 part without needing to eat another one of the Cyberboost bars. It kinda sucks being limited like that... but it really prevents you from basically being "GOD" in the game. I didn't have an unlimited amount, but I found a lot of them and/or bought them.

Path:
Foregoing a take down in favour of using the stun gun (or PEPS if there's more than one enemy, though I'd rather use consumables to set up an easy double take down) allows you to easily cloak up to an enemy and zap him in the head. This nets you 40 XP rather than 50 XP, but on the other hand you won't need to rely on consumables if you can't sneak up on an enemy. Recommended when you're going for pacifist.

I want a remake of Deus EX using the current engine :3 After seeing the end I'd love to refresh my memory but Deus EX is running wild on my system >_>
