Buying a new pc ( for gaming) need recomendations

Lol, for current games my rig is enough (Intel Q6600 with Radeon 2600XT and 2GB ram). Compared to that, the one linked about is at least two generations higher. I think it will last him at least 3 years without any upgrades. Even after that, it should still be able to play most games.

True. My old PC (Athon 64 X2, 9800GT, and 2BG RAM) was able to handle games just fine. The only reason I upgraded was because 3D vision rapes frame rates. Most people don't have that issue.

In all honesty the only thing you need to worry about is CPU and Mobo. That is usually the most difficult and costly to upgrade.

The thing is that he isn't likely to upgrade since he isn't a computer person (says so in some of his posts).

Yeah, I know. I was talking to the guys above.

Not to mention it's pretty obvious that the OP doesn't know much about computers and probably should not tinker with it anyways.
