Buying a new pc ( for gaming) need recomendations

Start with the Motherboard/Processor. Select those first, and then pick your case according to the ones you selected.

The i5 750 is probably the best Core i processor for the price.
As far as cases go, i really recommend NZXT. They have some killer looking specimens. I'm using the NZXT Tempest model myself and the thing kicks ass (The Apollo, Lexa S, and Gamma are also supposed to be good cases). 8)
A man's case is a very personal decision so choose wisely.

With respect to gaming, a Core i is only as good as the graphics card you put next to it. Unless you get a fairly good graphics card as well, you aren't going to see the full potential which you paid all that money for. In which case a regular quad core would do just as well.
If however you want to do a lot of heavy duty stuff with videos and anime, then I can vouch that a good CPU will be your best friend, even if everything else is mediocre.

right now i need a decent graphics card to do the job, when starcraft 2 comes out, ill buy an expensive one.
and yh ill be doing pretty much that.
btw whats the difference between video card and graphics card? I know graphics are important to gaming.

Who, Archer? He's from Fate/Stay Night. It's an Anime/Visual Novel (messege me for the VN link if your interested, although i'd watch the anime first). Here is the Collective Holy Thread on the subject. You'd best be careful round here though, else Tatsu shall call upon Saber to rain wrath from the sky upon you for such ignorance. :D

They're the same thing. video card = graphics card = GPU etc...
