New ISP

I just switched Internet companies and I'm afraid that I will be identified as a multi-account user as my IP is different.  Is there a way to simply update my new IP?

Your IP is of no interest for seeding here... we use torrent-passes.

I see.  So as long as I log in via the same computer i.e. use the same torrent pass everything will be fine correct?

It doesn't even have to be the same computer. The pass is built into the .torrent file you download when you log in. Basically, changing ISPs makes absolutely no difference.

I'm sure you did ;). but I havnt been using the other ISP for about 2 months and will start again in a month so mite wanna do a check up then  :P 

But, I will say the tracker didn't like me like changing ISP so quickly, occassionly it would "lock me out" for an hour or so.

It's multiple accounts, not IP addresses.  I seed 24/7 from my desktop and download with my laptop and my N810 from other locations all the time.

It's fine to seed torrents from multiple IPs at the same time; otherwise people using a seedbox would be banned/blocked.

On the other hand, seeding the SAME torrent from multiple IPs at the same time is bad. This is in the Wiki, I believe.
