Well, Anime-Ancestors is, well, a group I don't trust so much, admitted, I haven't watched a lot of their stuff, but the things I've watched, not impressed.

Well Arigatou subs are just translated from the dub audio. I just wanted to see if the subs on Anime-Ancestors are any better

Supposedly, the dubtitle issue was fixed for the second half, but I haven't heard whether that's true or not. A~A's subs are ripped from the same DVDs, so I doubt their subs would be any different.  A~A might've thrown some phail OCR errors in for a little variety, though. Besides, A~A's only done the first 5 eps, according to AniDB.

Just get the Shinsen-Subs TV-rips if you want accurate translations.

No, A~A have done the entire series, they're just really bad at updating their AniDB status. But as I said in the fail offer of Street Fighter:

One thing you guys should know about A~A is that this release could have timing issues, I got some of their Shippuuden episodes, and they were over a minute out of sync! So, not speaking badly about this release, but it would be wise to look over every episode before offering something from this group.

I compared 1ep A~A vs Arigatou:
Subs - same (yep, same weird engdub subs, but A~A have SRT format (only) +  hardsubbed OP (only OP) (funny, you need switch off subs when watching OP, because they annoying with hardsubs))
Video - 640x480, I don't want waste my time to upload screenshots, but i found that video worse (some scenes have less details (like RaX release)) then Arigatou (+ A~A video blured too much for my opinion (Arigatou colors better)), If someone says: "You don't right, I compared video and A~A much better  " be sure do it with comparision screenshots  .
(I don't "protect"   my upload and I always replace my files with better version, but Arigatou still better.)

Anime ancestors release looks better. Not sure why your saying otherwise 

I got all AA episodes for blood+ except for episode 14 and 15.... anyone care to trade ??
